Mambe Waterproof Blankets were created by Matt and Margaret, parents of three kids and lifelong pet lovers. Like many parents, we have spent countless weekends supporting our kids in their sports, little league through collegiate sports. Living in the Pacific Northwest, rain and wind were always a factor. So, in addition to indoor blankets, we created weatherproof outdoor blankets to make our outdoor time more comfortable and enjoyable. Years later, Mambe continues to be family-owned and committed to helping other families live more comfortably.

How do I customize the blanket with my name or a logo?
Great question! We love to do cool custom blankets for customers. The easiest way is to use the custom hooded blanket builder. There is also a link on the main Hooded Blanket page.
What size is best for me?
The Hooded Blankets are designed to fit over other layers such as a sweatshirt or even another jacket. The size chart is really your best guide, and remember, it's always better to have a little more room than for it to be too tight. If you land outside the size chart, just let us know - we have options for you!
How do I wash my blanket?
Spot Cleaning
Use a damp sponge or rag to clean small areas.
Machine Washing
Wash separately in cold water. Use mild detergents. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Tumble dry on warm or low temperature settings.

Where are they made?
We used to make everything here in the US, but over the years, we have become more of a hybrid US/overseas manufacturer now – mainly because either the actual fabric mill moved overseas, the machines that do the laminating do not exist in the US, or the cost is too prohibitive for the relatively low volume we make. The manufacturing location varies depending on the blanket: either Washington State in the USA, China, or Korea. We took great care to find our manufacturing partners, ensuring they are top tier in all the areas we care about – fabric quality, craftsmanship, environmental regard, and working conditions/pay. They are OekoTex Certified, a global standard of quality and safety. All customization work is done here in the US.
